Gainsborough members travel to race meetings at many other tracks around the UK - left is a view of the Newcastle circuit during an Area Championship race in 2003. The pic below shows Brian Saunders and Charlie Gooding, two of the country’s very best drivers at our club in 2002. Brian is currently BSCRA Chairman and British Open Champion. Charlie has held both titles in the past!

Don’t worry about not looking fast enough if you visit. We cater for all ability and experience levels and our club night races are ‘seeded’ using a system based on past performances, so beginners always have others to race against. Only a minority of our members travel away from home and Brian’s lap record from 2002 still stands anyway!
